GabbyPuppets in Seattle!

Hello!  Gabby here to tell you about what the puppets have been up to!  We've really missed seeing everyone at church, and are excited to come back soon to visit with you all.  Last week Toogie, Lady Eleanor and I all got to go on vacation with Pastor Sarah!  We went to Seattle, and it was a REALLY long drive, but we had fun fun fun!  We stayed with Pastor Sarah's friend, Pastor Kari, and we got to go to her church.  Pastor Kari even invited us to help with Sunday School and Children's Time!  Wow!  I was so excited to meet all of those new people, and I know Lady E and Toogie had fun, too!  Sunday School was Intergenerational, and I didn't know what that meant, but it just means that people of all ages got to come and have fun together!  Pastor Kari said they had been talking about the Old Testament during the year, and she asked us about our favorite stories.  I like the story of Noah and the ark.  I think all of those animals would have been really fun, and messy and crazy!  Lady Eleanor likes the Jonah story, and she told lots of funny stories about places she'd lived and big fish she'd seen, but she said no big fish had ever swallowed her.  Lady Eleanor is so silly sometimes!  Toogie's favorite story is the one about Joseph and his coat of many colors.  I thought Toogie's Hawaiian shirt had lots of colors, but I guess Joseph's was even more colorful!  After Sunday School Toogie and Lady E went off to do touristy stuff, but I got to go help Pastor Kari with children's time!  I was kind of nervous to help in a new church, but everyone was really nice.  We talked about the story of the mustard seed that Jesus told.  Pastor Sarah even gave me a little baggie full of mustard seeds to take with me to show everyone.  They're really small!  Pastor Kari said that even though they are small they grow up into a great big shrub that birds can build a nest in. Amazing!  She said that people are like that, too.  We might all be different sizes, but God gave us all gifts, and we can grow up to do amazing things.  I learned that even though I am just a little blue puppet, God made me special, and that I can grow up to do amazing things, too.  I'm so glad I got to go and meet all those nice people and learn fun stuff about God!  Now I can't wait to come and hang out with all of you nice people at Atonement!  Keep an eye out for me and Lady Eleanor and Toogie, and come and have fun with us when we're there!  Bye, People!
