Witness is the curriculum the Board of Education and our
teachers have selected for our Sunday School Program through the
6th grade.
Opening Worship is done in two groups. Three year olds through 2nd
graders gather in Atonement’s Preschool room while the rest of
the students meet in the large meeting room of the educational
wing of the basement. Opening Worship is 15 minutes in length.
The students then move to their classrooms and spend the
remaining time of the educational hour there.
Rotational Sunday School
Kicked Off
January 18th
The first three week session is exploring the
Jonah story through Art, Games and Drama. The first day was a
lot of fun: The Preschool-1st grade made stick puppets which
they used the following week in the drama rotation. 2-4 grades
played a kind of giant board game where they answered questions
about the story to move ahead. The 5th and 6th graders wrote
their own scripts based on the story. Thank you to everyone who
has helped to get this trial period of Rotational Sunday School
off to such a great start!
